MTX of Southwest Florida, Inc. is a national contracting and placement firm headquartered in Tampa, Florida.  Since 1999, MTX has been successfully placing healthcare and education professionals in travel, contract, and permanent positions.

The core focus of MTX has always been placing critical-shortage professionals in both healthcare and educational settings.

Originally, our firm specialized only in the placement of Registered Nurses. This eventually led to expansion into Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Language Pathologists. The demand and market for therapists grew not only in healthcare but in school based settings as well. MTX quickly became specialists in these professions thereby naming ourselves “MTX Therapy Services.”

While providing education-based therapy services in school systems, the shortage of other education-based professionals, like specialty teachers and psychologists, was evident. This led to the creation of another business focus in “MTX Education Services”.
